Architectural insight from above.
Based in Edinburgh, Upsides provide architect-led drone survey and inspection services, capturing high-resolution imagery to inform decisions on building repair, maintenance, and adaptation.
Every survey is planned and executed by a registered architect. We understand buildings and target key details to produce focused, reliable survey outputs. We bring extensive experience delivering drone surveys for aerial inspections and condition recording across historically significant buildings, conservation areas, and nature reserves throughout the UK.
All drone operations are conducted in accordance with the UK Civil Aviation Authority Drone Code, fully insured, and supported by site-specific risk assessments and pre-flight reports. We liaise directly with relevant authorities, including Historic Environment Scotland and Network Rail, to secure all necessary permits and approvals.
